Donald Allan Bror Lindberg, MD, director emeritus of the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) and Honorary MLA Member, died on August 17, 2019, in Bethesda, Maryland. Lindberg was NLM’s longest serving director and led the library through extraordinary changes that affected health sciences libraries and access to health information worldwide.References
